Description
This road cycling route, CLimia Benidorm Plaza – Tudons, from Benidorm Plaza to the legendary Port de Tudons is a demanding and scenic ride that showcases some of the best climbing in the Costa Blanca. The route begins with a steady ascent towards Finestrat and continues through rolling terrain until reaching the long approach to Tudons, where gradients remain consistent around 5%.
From the village of Sella, the climb becomes more challenging, featuring several kilometers above 6% and a steep final section before reaching the summit. After cresting Tudons, the route includes a fast and technical descent towards Alcoleja, followed by the ascent of Puerto de Benifallim, another classic climb with beautiful mountain views.
The return towards Finestrat combines gradual downhills, short uphill ramps, and a final ascent to the Alto de Finestrat before descending back to Benidorm. It’s an ideal ride for cyclists looking for long climbs, mountain passes, and a full road cycling experience in one of Europe’s top cycling regions.
