Maratón MTB Guzmán el Bueno

Each year, the event welcomes close to 3,500 participants, including top national and international athletes who are drawn by the race’s demanding profile and its status as one of the most respected MTB marathons in the country. Riders face wide-open tracks, rocky climbs, forest paths and historic routes that cut through some of the most spectacular corners of Sierra Morena, only a few minutes from Córdoba’s city center. The adventure begins and ends at the El Arenal fairground, a gathering point where thousands of spectators welcome every finisher and where the post‑race atmosphere has become part of the tradition.

The 2026 edition maintains its hallmark route of over 100 km with around 2,000 m of elevation gain, challenging riders with both demanding climbs and fast technical descents. The organization offers a full suite of services to ensure that participants can focus exclusively on enjoying the day: a finisher medal with engraved time, official Kavant cycling jersey, race bag, chip‑timed number plate, hot meal at the finish line, five well‑equipped aid stations, physiotherapy, parking areas for cars and caravans, medical support, live classifications and professional photography. All registrations are managed through the official platform, where participants can modify personal details or add optional services with ease.
