Osuna- Punte Genil

Description

From this lush historic city, we begin the second stage of the branch route toward Puente Genil. The journey starts along the dirt track of the Vía Pecuaria de Ípora, which crosses gentle hills, olive groves, and green corridors in a transitional landscape between countryside and mid-mountain terrain, also following much of the GR-341 trail.

Covering a distance of 52.15 kilometers and an elevation gain of 707 meters, this stage offers a varied terrain that alternates between paved roads and dirt paths.

From Estepa, we switch between road and trail to pass through Herrera, continuing along the Caminos de Pasión trail until reaching Puente Genil. It’s a route that blends natural beauty with cultural richness, ideal for cyclists seeking a scenic and meaningful ride through Andalusia.
